Zoo / read book

We set off to the Zoo in the morning at 9:30am though it was raining lightly. It was my 1st time to Zoo! And luckily the weather was good after the rain, cool weather!
At the kids world around 4pm+ till closing about 6pm. I was having great fun at the water play. I am getting more and more daring with playing water.
We took a cab home as I was dead tired without noon nap. Slept for a while in the cab but awake when reached home. Surprisingly, I was pretty alert and saw one of my favourite book "My Pet" and read it out. As mentioned before, too many times the word repeated, I will get frustrated as shown on the video below.
“紫 色 的 。。。。鞋子” - purple shoe. I know what mummy will ask me.

I like powder

The moment I came back home after their dinner, I said "I like powder" and went straight to my room, took the powder and hand-over to Mummy. She poured some onto her hand and I dipped it on my knee, legs & toes using my finger.

Mummy asked me why I like powder and I replied "mosquito bite".

"Where did she learn powder ease mosquito bite?" mummy wondered and saw few tiny red spots on my legs. She later realized I might have figured it out as recently she will apply powder on my neck and arm after my bath whenever I have heat rash as I kept scratching it when itchy.

Problem solving thinking-skills summation :

heat rash = itchy - (minus) powder = heal!
mosquito bite = itchy - (minus) powder = heal!

I am using logical thinking (left brain). Isn't it?
ha! ha! mummy can even sum up my thinking!

I'm 2 years old!

I'm 2 years old! "muack!" I love you, mummy & daddy! (as shown pictures below)
Mummy, of course, took tons of pictures of me.

Mummy wanted to bring me to Zoo today to celebrate my birthday but daddy said it will be crowded and to avoid H1N1 virus hence postpone to 22/7, Wednesday. They brought me to water-play at Vivo in the evening instead. No birthday cake for me as they don't really fancy eating cake and I won't eat much too. Nevertheless, I wouldn't care much if there is cake or not as playing water is my #1 now! See how fun I was!
Wonder where is my birthday present??? KIV!

As usual, mummy will pen down my acquired skills set :-

Motor skills (mummy noticed I have improved tremendously in this area)

1) I have no problem crawling under the tunnel-type playground
2) Learning to climb on spiral/ladder type of playground
3) Learning to cut using scissor
4) Manged to press open adult cloth-peg on 2 fingers (mummy hadn't bought the mini cloth-peg as taught by the class)
5) Can take out my diaper without help when it is time for bath

Independence or stubborness?? - sometimes, i refused to have them help me and preferred I do it myself. See pictures above walking up the steep grass and I refused dad to hold me and I walked up myself carefully.

Memory - able to recall some story sequence.

Game - "小天才” - most morning, always ask to play this game though most of the time, likes to play with the number cubes and always said "check answer". But mummy said I must put the cubes into the answer sheet in able to check answer. Mummy suspect I knew how to match it just that I am not in serious mode. As mummy has been playing with me the matching game for quite a while, this time she switched on matching animal shape (not the shawdow but the outline of the animal shape). I am able to point the correct animal outline at 1st try but refused to put the cube into the answer slot.

Vocabularly - mummy can't possible pen down how many words i knew but for sure, I knew more english words than chinese though I am catching up my speaking and words input on chinese. Every morning, when I wake up and will say "早安,你好”- "good morning, how are you?". But sometimes will confuse when I woke up my noon nap and will say "早安" and mum will correct me and said should be "午安”. Aiyo! "伤 脑 筋!" - "headache".

Alphabets and phonics - When bath time, I like to take the foam letters and pronunce both phonics and followed by the letter associated with it. Recently, likes to take the letter "Z" and loudly said it "z" for zebra, zipper, zip, "X" - x-ray, "V" -violin, vegetable, vacuum.

Writing skills - though i have not mastered it, only able to write no. "1" with my freehand from down to upward stroke instead of the normal - up to downward stroke. But I like to write no. 2 and "A" and mummy will practise with me.
