It's playtime! (video)

Daddy brought me to the park @Jln Rumah Tingi in the morning walking towards the staircase.

Afternoon, play with ball (kick, throw). I like ball!

At 5+pm, went to Vivo. Daddy wants to buy external hard disk drive for mummy as she almost used up the hard disk space in the laptop by taking tons of tons of pcitures of me! Oops! Mummy said must take more pictures of me for memory sake.
Mummy did not have any of her baby photos for keepsake. The youngest age of herself was about 5-7 years old photos. The only baby photo of mummy taken with my grandma (mummy's mother) was lost :( hence mummy can't show us how much resemble we are. Mummy said i look like her when young.

climb down from bed (video)

Morning daddy brought me to the playground downstairs and also brought along the walker. Walk towards the slide and saw some boys playing on it. Am wonder when can i play freely like them?

Ha! mummy can't wait to video me using the new vado handy video camera. Video shown below going down from the bed (that's the technic) i use to go down on my own.

Morning mummy brought me to the park as the weather is not so hot. Finally i can play with the slide in the playground. I walk up the slide (of course, mummy holds my hand) and "wee!" i slide down. It's fun! But i only play for about 5 minutes as it is going to rain. No choice mummy put me back to stroller and i cry! Morning i drank 70-80ml of plain water! Very thirsty! I nap for 3hrs today after my lunch (nice weather).

At about 3:30pm, mummy "ergo" me to Suntec - Comex Show to buy creative Vado video cam. Daddy agreed to sponsor mummy to buy it to video me, of course! Vado is a very light weight and simple gadget cost only $149 (UP $169) as mummy usually used mobile video (8 secs only) to video me or camera video function (bulky to bring out).

i drink more plain water now

Wake up at 5:40am and back to sleep again after my 170ml milk drink. Wake up at 8:10am. Mummy feed me 1 yogplait petit miam yoghurt - raspberry flavor. "Yummy!"
Ha! For the very first time, i drink more plain water. Whole day i drank about 80-90ml of water. Usually i drink very little (ie 10-30ml only for the whole day). It must be that i walk more and i am more thirsty. Mummy is thrilled as afraid i dont like to drink plain water. Mummy don't like the idea to give me fruit juice to substitute for water.

Nap a lot today

Wake up at 7:30am and drank 175ml milk. Nap 10:30am - 12:15pm at Ikea and mummy took this opportunity to read newspaper and have a sip of coffee. Mummy hasn't done this for a long time at Ikea ever since i am more aware of the surroundings ie. wants to play and now wants to walk. After my lunch (salmon porridge), play and walk around the house. Nap again at 3:45pm - 5:45pm @Anchorpoint as mummy hasnt had her lunch and back home again for my dinner (same menu as lunch). Last drink at 9:20pm and KO!!

Oh my! i wake up about 5:55am. Mummy prepared the milk and daddy fed me. Mummy quickly take a quick nap before daddy goes to work at 7am. Another tough day for mummy, oops! Mummy prepared chicken with asparagus porridge (with ikan bilis soup stock) in the morning and off for her breakfast about 8:30am and to buy salmon fish for me. Met sis Xin Yi with her grandparents and mummy offered a baby biscuit to sis and praised she can eat a whole biscuit by herself. I still can't eat the biscuit on my own as i tend to bite a big piece and get choke. Sometimes will vomit. Hence, mummy has to feed me. Mummy just started me on biscuits as previously when young, didnt like it and cant chew, bite properly.

At 8:30pm after mum & dad had their dinner, went to Ikea and daddy let me walk while mummy rest. Walk around the sofa session for about 1/2 hr. Daddy said i wont let him hold my hands as i want my freedom! so young talk about freedom, ah? ha!

Visit auntie esther's place

Morning mummy brought me to the open park and a kind granny with her grandson loan me the car ride-on similiar to i have (given by my neighbour). I didnt sit on it instead i used it as a walker. Walk around on the playground as it is soft and mum won't scared i fell and hurt myself. Ha! i like steps....whenever i saw something like steps, i wanna lift my legs up. I saw the slide too. I wanna play but again it is wet. Can't play again :(. I also played with the toy car.
Late afternoon at 4pm, mummy brought me to Autie Esther's place as mummy is bored at home. 1st time to auntie's place and i straight away eyed on the walker!!! ha! ha! and also the steps stairs. Oops! i ransacked their CDs racks too. Sorry, auntie esther ;) and she is kind to let me taste the avocado mixed with apple and full-cream milk dessert. Yummy!!! Time to go back about 6pm and i slept on the bus. Wake up about 7pm to have my dinner.

i'm officially a toddler!

wow! i've promoted from baby to toddler officially!! i can walk though still tumble down from my buttock (luckily got cushion from the diaper! ha! ha!). Today, whole day rain so can't go out. I walk and walk around the house till i tired. When dinner time, daddy fed me 1 bowl of porridge and 1 fell asleep!! Too shacked! Daddy took this opportunity to cut my finger nails.

Mini-walk @Vivo

We went to Vivo at 3pm+ and i walked while daddy holds my hand. Now i love walking! It's fun! Sometimes mummy wants to hold my 1 hand but i shake it off and wants to walk on my own. Hmmmmm...i want my freedom!!

"OMG!" Mummy said. I can now walk down from the super single size bed which is 20" high! Mummy & daddy saw me doing it by sliding it down from my tummy. "it's amazing that a little tot can do it!" mummy said.

Hooray! Daddy's on leave today!! Mummy can rest. hee! hee! Morning daddy brought the walker down at our house void deck for me to practice walking but i'm eyeing on the playground just next to it. I walked towards it (with the walker), daddy no choice brought me to the playground. Ha!!! i'm actually eyeing on the slide!! i wanna slide! it's fun! but daddy don't allow as it is wet. So i just have to play with my walker. Afternoon, mummy take over to take care of me and shot me walking on my own - trying very hard. "good job!" mummy said.

I can walk more on my own! Cool!!

I wake up at 6:20am. 1st thing is to grab my walker to walk after my milk drink as i feel very energetic in the early morning! Late morning, mummy saw me walk on my own (without walker!!) about 6-8 steps. An improvement from previous about few steps. Today, my mission to is walk on my own. I try and try many steps. At about 3:25pm, mummy saw me walk even more about 14 steps!! Mummy quickly sms daddy of the news and daddy said "my legs are very powerful now!" ha! ha! About 4pm, mummy brought me to Vivo for shopping and met daddy after work. I slept on the bus on the way back home about 7:4opm. Daddy gave me a wipe as i vomit out the porridge in the shopping mall and i continue to sleep till next day 7:40am. These past few days, i slept early till next day as i am tired after continously tried to walk and stand. "i'm very hardworking, u know?"

Like to walk on staircase/steps

Wake up at 6:50am! poor mummy! Mummy brought me to the open park at Jln Rumah Tinngi and let me walk with 1 hand holding. Walk around the basketball court and saw a wide staircase and walk towards it. I walk up & down the staircase as it is fun! I can lift up my legs up to walk up but down not so good as the staircase is quite high for me. Nevertheless, i walk up and down till mummy sweat! Mummy had to hold both hands behind me in case i fall as the floor is very rough. Mummy put me down on the stroller about 5 mins. later as it is getting hot and i cry! i wanna to walk! No choice, mummy let me walk up & down the staircase whilst she holds my both hands. Ha! Love up & down feeling! Cool!

Late afternoon, mummy brought me to anchorpoint. "ergo" me thought i can sleep but can't. Mummy let me walk for a while (holding me, of course!) and went to the Times bookshop. I ransacked the books instead! Oops!
I slept at 7:20pm till next morning 6:20am (again!!!)

today i am 13mth old!!

Today i am 13 month old!! I've re-found love on my Vtech walker as i know how to swivel/turn around the house so good, it is like i am walking on my own to ease mummy's time to do other things like taking picture/video of me, of course! ha! ha! Previously stop playing with my walker when stucked.

Also i can now sit on my chair without mummy's help. I can also walk down on my own. See video. Mummy is surprised i can do it few days ago so shoot me for evidence.

Motor skills i know how so far :
Mummy conclusion of me : I am an observant baby! or "kay poh", likes to see how adults do things.

1. Whenever i want to go down from the bed, i will put my one leg down to indicate i wanna go down to play on the floor. I can do it 2-3 months ago as i observed how adults do it.
2. I can turn on the water tap (pull up/down) whenever mummy carries me to wash hands. Mummy show me how. "Oops! daddy will not be happy as i waste water!".
3. Daddy also surprised i can open the Vicks bottle as recently i got flu though the bottle cap is not tightly closed. I know how to twist and open.
4. I know how to open drawers.
5. Know abit of round switch button to press down to switch off, but cannot press up to switch on. No strength.
6. I know how to press to open the wastebasket using my hand as i observed mum & dad using leg to step on to flip open whenever change my diaper. "yucks! smelly!"
7. Lastly, i am expert in throwing things and ransacking. Is this consider as motor skill? ha! ha!

Mummy brought me to Ikea in the afternoon and just want to stroll me around but when passed by the children section, i cry! i wanna play!!! Mummy no choice put me down to crawl, play and put me on the "walking wigs" to aid me walking. Initially i am not used to it as tends to hold on something to push. Later, i begining to realise i still can walk with the wings on it. Walk around and some passers-by comments i look kinda cute with the wings on it. hee! hee! I slept at 7:30pm till the next morning at 6:50am!!

Mummy brought me to Ikea this morning and put me on the "walking wings" to let me walk to gain my confidence. I walked from the Ikea cafe entrance to the cashier and back. In between play with the mini round playground. Mummy felt that i prefers to hold her hands than the wings as i am not used to it.

daddy witness me walk (unsupported)

This morning, daddy brought me to the park at Jln Rumah Tinggi while mummy still sleeping. Daddy let me walk while holding my 1 hand. Walk about few minutes as daddy can't remember how long i have walk. Late afternoon, as usual, mummy ask daddy to bring me to grandpa's house as mummy needs to vacuum the house. Over there, daddy witness me walking a few steps unsupported.

Walk with 1 hand holding

Mummy had a good sleep whilst daddy take care of me in the morning. Afternoon, mummy let me crawl freely, play as usual and mummy put shoes on me to see if i can walk better. True enough, with shoes on, i walk while mummy hold me on one side only. Previously i can walk whilst mummy hold my both hands in front of me. But now i can walk steadily with 1 hand holding. Walk around from room to hall and mummy bring me out to our house corridor to walk around with my walking wings. The walking wings is to aid me walking confidently without mummy holding my hands. Mummy bought it about 2 months ago, didn't use much as at that time my leg aren't strong enough. I walk around together with my activity walker. I walk and walk for almost 20 mins!! "It's a great improvement!" mummy says. I am not tired but mummy is! ha! ha! Now i love to play with my activity walker as i can turn around/reverse on my own! "wow! your stering gear is good!" daddy says. When i am stuck with my walker, mummy says "turn turn" and i follow instruction. I know how to reverse and turn because mummy keep saying "turn, turn" whilst she helps me to turn around with the small trolley at Ikea. When mummy praised me "clever gir!" i turn back and gives a cheeky smile. I did it not once, but thrice! "dont be proud." mummy says. "mummy, it takes a lot of effort, u know?"

I like to play and take over rascal's bed and of course, the winner is "ahem!, me!" Rascal has no choice to let me have it. Yeah!
