Today, mum bought few fun & educational games for me :)

Fishing

I love playing this game as it is engaging. It helps to train on hand & eye co-ordination and whose kids doesn't like toys that are moving? This fishing games operates on battery, rotates and fishes take turn to open its mouth for us to "catch". Dad said I can't catch it but I proved him wrong ;)

Tweezer

Practising using it as taught in LNT class.

But.... I have more fun on pouring out the "pong pong balls!" Mum just loves my smile, laugh as I look so cute, adorable, sweet that melt her heart. Ohhhhh......

Mum also bought this 3D dimension puzzles and she made a "motorcycle " knowing I like to role play with soft toy animals rather than dolls. This puzzle helps creative thinking :)

28th month old

I'm 28th month old! Mum will usually pen down skills i've acquired so far :-

RB Training

1) PM (photo-memory) - I've pretty much got the concept of playing as previously just placed the same place when mum practised with me.

Motor-skills development

2) Likes to drink from adult's cup rather than my water-bottle or plastic cup
3) Interest in using chopsticks, fork, spoon
4) Can wear my own shoes
5) Can take off my short but still struggling
6) At times, I've tried to put on my shirt but failed
7) Can feed myself but after my holiday trip recently, I refused to eat on my own and they had to feed me again. Mum don't understand why i've changed my behaviour but luckily, I still feed myself when they have dinner outside and when I feel like eating their meal.
8) Solid food - I can chew my food faster than before and I can finished my meal (mum cook rice now...bye bye porridge!) within 10 mins compared to previously at approx. 20mins as I chewed very slowly and still eating porridge at that time. Chewing helps to develop jaw muscles for better speech development :)
8) Dance - Oh! I love it! Mum noticed I like dancing than singing. Teacher Peiqin even commented I will be a good dancer. I can twist my waist and legs but not together as like "ah go go dance!" That will make a word record of youngest dancer. Ha! ha! and I can move my body in a forward & backward style (mummy wondered where i learnt it from?). Dad said must be from my recent craze on mickey mouse video.

See how "sticky" I am towards my pet cat? I followed him whenever he goes.

wear shoes / funny face / montessori

I can put on & take off my sneaker shoes confidently since a month ago . I insist to wear on my own....depending on my mood :) I followed mummy's instruction --- pull the velcro strap to loosen it, use the tiny hook which locates behind to hold it while slip my feet in, strap it back and viola! She even teached me to identify which sides to put on --- logo facing outwards.

Evening after their dinner out, I went to the room and told mummy I wanted to play montessori toys.

I had a long noon nap (2 - 5:30pm) due to the medication that cause drowsiness (for running nose & cough) and when I woke up.....

mum : time for bath
me : take off long pant (and pulled down my pant and diaper too)

After my bath,

mum : time for dinner
me : I dont' want
mum : why don't want?
me : time to read the book
mum : ha! ok....

and I walked towards my "library" corner to take "The J Book" and other books to read on my own while mum prepared my dinner.

Mum is glad I've made the habits of reading books now but sometimes I made a mess on spreading books all over the hall. Mum has to keep remind me to put the books back to the bookshelf. I can be stubborn at times....while I was reading book on my own and mum was trying to help me pronounce the words, I will fuss and refuse to read anymore.

I'm skiing!

I'm skiing! ha! ha! with ....suction cup (for unclogging the drain). They have a good laugh and dad made fun of me :)
