I'm always excited when mum flashes me new country flag flash cards when old ones retired. I will ask "1 more time" and intensely look at it. Below video flash cards are retired ones n mum enjoyed testing me too :) This is so contrast with math dots. I only like zero dot card which is a blank card!

Finally, mum figures out "funny words" came from my mouth as I kept saying "ma ci dong dong". Mum thought I am trying to speak my own language or trying to be funny when realised the words are chinese words “孟 子 听 后”on 三 子 经 recitation video explanation. I need to brush up my mandarin speaking ;)

put on hat for mummy

I woke up late this morning about 9am+ (in fact dad has to wake me up) as we came back late last night on X'mas day to Jurong Point. We went out at 7:30pm till 11:30pm. I had a long noon nap too.

Before my dinner, I took out a bandana and said : "mummy wants to wear hat" instead of "I want mummy to wear hat" and put it on her. Mum is touched with my action and I put on my favourite pink hat too. Mum asked daddy to take picture of us for memory. "Do we look-alike?" Many hawker sellers & neighbours commented I grew to look more like mummy :) Mum agreed too as I resembled her much when she was little.

x'mas eve @Vivo

We head down to Vivo to celebrate X'mas eve. It is always nice to have a good camera that is good for night shot & action. Mum is a Nikon fan and had invested this DSLR camera before I was born. And indeed, with a good interchangeable lens, mum doesn't need a tripod and all this photos taken on hand-held, ISO 800, noise (grain) wasn't that noticeable. Hence, it was a good investment though much heavier than normal small, slim camera. It will be good to invest an external flash light but will be heavier to bring out so will just have to rely on this cam's built-in flash.

We have a cuppa of coffee before heading for photo-taking. Self-serve myself to have a little sip of coffee :)

I love daddy's piggy back me and swing me high! I was laughing all the way. Mum just love my mischievous look yet adorable. I was having fun running too. Mum shot me this series of pictures I was having great fun and will be a good memory for me too :)

pretend play - cow wore bib

Mummy says I'm getting more & more interesting with lots of ideas to bring in great joy & laughter to the family.

Scenario 1 - Pretend play

This time, not cat but cow! I asked mum to help me took the green bib (specifically asked for green color) at Ikea. Mum thought I will put it on myself as usual but to her surprise, I put it on the cow (soft toy) as shown on video.

Scenario 2 - Animals wore shoes

Mum recalled back a week ago. While she was cooking in the kitchen, I came to her and said "lion wear shoes" and she turned around, laughed at my great ideas (in fact she thought it is a brilliant ideas!). I put on the toy fishes on the lion's legs. Later, I put it on for the elephant. And not enough, I took out the fish's teeth and put it on the "man" and said "the man wear hat". Mum really finds me an interesting girl with creative ideas :)

count 1-20 / pretend play

Lately, I'm crazy about counting 1-20, be it running or jumping. And I'm able to say clearly the no. 17 which is our floor unit number :)

This time, fed the cat "fish" instead of "milk" ;)

and "cook" for mum too :)

Mummy noticed I love country flag flash cards. Though I incorrectly said the wrong flag for Venezuela but mum is happy I can pronounce it clearly. And for country flags like Slovenia,
Ethiopia, Costa Rica, I can recognized it and said it clearly. When comes to Papa New Guinea flag....mummy knew what I'm thinking "......ahhhh...this flag I knew...forget the name" as I did say it correctly before. Not bad on my performance as mum don't even know this set of country flags! Hee! hee!

I'm 29th mth old

I'm 29th month old today...approaching 2 1/2 years old :)

Mummy is happy I still have "baby fat" esp. on my cheeks. She likes to touch & squeeze it and says "chubby, chubby!". Friends of mummy commented I still look chubby too :)
