As usual, mummy brought me to my all-time favourite place to play ----- Ikea!

Late afternoon, went to sis kana's house for playdates again --- my regular buddy now.

counting dogs / affirmation "yes"

Morning inside the lift, there are 2 dogs with the owner and mummy asked "how many dogs"? I looked at it and replied "2" to the owner's astonishment. She praised me and mummy is so happy :)

Mummy confirmed I really mean "yes" when she asked today.

1) Want to get down from stroller?

2) Want more biscuits?

3) Want to sit on rocking chair (actually is rocking moose) from Ikea

I replied "yes" for all the above.

After my morning bath, I asked for the puzzle box and seriously pieced together and when completed, I gave myself a smile of accomplishment. Notice I used my right-hand to piece together?

Scenario 1 (yes) - after my noon nap

Daddy : You want milk?
Me : Yes

Daddy was surprised to hear me reply "yes" for the 1st time as previously I would respond it back and said "milk" and/or signed it.

Daddy : come on and go
Me : come on (with an eccence)

Daddy : want to get down (from stroller)?
Me : get down (with a tune)

After my craze on playdough, next is puzzle. Today I pieced together many 3 pieces puzzle (pictures shown below). Mummy noticed I used my right hand to piece it hence confirmed I am a right-hand person.

Late afternoon, went to grandpa's house with daddy so that mummy can vaccumn the house with peace.

We went to Library in the afternoon. Daddy "ergo" me and picked up some books for me while mummy looked for AV to loan. When I saw mummy, I called out loudly "mummy! mummy!" and ran towards her. It made another happy day for mummy and she kissed me affectionately :)
Lately, I sleep on my tummy with my buttock lifting up. Mummy said it is weird but daddy replied that I have his genes as he slept in this position too when he was little (???)

looking for mummy

I cried and looked for mummy while she went to washroom after the class. Teacher peiqin carried me to the washroom and mummy heard me calling out "mummy! mummy!" for the 1st time. Mummy was touched to hear it though I know how to say mummy for quite sometimes but only when they asked me. Coincidence, mummy just complained to daddy few days ago that I called out daddy more than mummy. Maybe I sense it hence quickly appeased mummy?

Another way of better communication today - I signed and said drink to indicate I was thirsty after the class and mummy gave me my drink bottle.

A joke of the day at the school after the class :

Mummy : 叫 “老师” and point to Teacher Peiqin & Aiwei
Me : responded and said "老 死"
Teacher Aiwei heard it and said "我 不 要 那 么 早 死 哈！”
Both Mummy and Teachers laughed.

But mummy is happy as I've shown improvement on my speaking mandarin and recognise chinese words too. Mummy taught me late when I was about 14-15 months old.
Mummy said I speak with an eccence on Mandarin (kinda like ang-moh style) but cute to hear it ;)

playdates @naomi's house

Playdates @naomi's house with sis kana and aunt eileen in the late afternoon.

I blurted out "home" and mummy thought I merely said it. I said it again and dragged the "ergo carrier" to mummy! Mummy realised I was serious and it was time to go home for my dinner.

Mummy had been monitoring my behaviour when sharing things with other bubs and her conclusion was : I behave well and will not snatch from other kiddo's stuff and will just go away and look for other toys to play. Mummy hoped I will continue to behave this way as I will be approaching 2 years old (terrible 2).

Mummy noticed lately I am able to express myself a little of what I want and said it like :
- walk walk - wants to go down to walk while sitted on stroller
- no more (when video ended) - my favourite phrase
- bread - wants to eat bread
- sit
- down (go down)
- sleep
- milk
- bath
- swing (wants to play the swing @Ikea)
- rock (wants to play the rocking chair or horse)
- puzzle
- crayon

A vast improvement of just crying and mum & dad did not know what I want.
