bonding with rascal

Now I know where is Rascal hiding and immediately look for him behind the curtains the minute I woke up this morning.

Me : Rascal, wake up! Rascal!
Rascal : zzzzzzzzzzz
Me : wake up! wake up! (and I squeezed into his secret hiding place to pet him)

Below video shown how close I am towards him now. Guess who's heavier? Mum can't tell as we weigh almost the same weight (12-13kg!!!) Every visitors saw him and said : "WOW! So
huge! Is he a cat or a dog?" Rascal is double the size of a normal "chihuahua" dog or even more ;) Mum had to buy special diet food for overweight cat.

Didn't I mention I've many ways to entertain myself @Ikea? I treat the push trolley as push car and I have fun!

Mum noticed I absorb fast with knowledge now. She teaches me the chinese word "爬高架”(climbing frame) only a few times and I know it. Mum has to re-learn chinese too as she didn't know this is climbing frame both in English & Chinese till she read to me from the book.

greetings / feelings

The minute I woke up this morning, I asked for "Rascal" instead of "I want to drink milk" and I look around in the house but didn't see my pet cat. I whined and asked "Where's Rascal"? Mummy found him behind the master bedroom's curtains to take a nap as this is his favourite hiding place. I felt much relieved after found him. Mum finds that I am getting more attach towards my pet cat in such a short period of time.

@Ikea....wanted to befriend a girl and said "hello, nice to meet you!" and followed her.

solid rice

For the 2nd time, mum cooked rice for both lunch & dinner as dad remarked that it still look like porridge for the 1st cook. Hence, mum this time cooked solid rice.

Ingredients : chicken, cabbage, mushroom, prawn, 杞 子 (qi zi). No seasoning, no cooking oil too :). Yes, mum will cook w/o it as long as I like and for healthy reason too.

Mum has to mix it together with rice to hasten the time and don't want me to pick my food as heard some kids will be picky later with certain food.

I ate for about 1/2 hr which is not bad. Left only tiny portion of food.

For the very 1st time, mummy cooked rice for my lunch as she think I'm ready (judging from yesterday at foodcourt, I asked for rice when saw mum ate mixed veg. rice). Today is Fri and mum will cook 1 meal as I have class today. She will bring along an extra milk feed to replace my dinner but occasionally, she will cook extra.

Surprise! I finished the 1st bowl in less than 10 mins (7-8 mins) and asked for more. I usually will eat about 2 bowls of it. Mum refilled the 2nd round and I finished 3/4 of it. In all, I ate pretty fast in less than 30 mins. A great improvement !

Ingredients : salmon, threadfin fish, mushroom & cabbage.

waterplay / keywords

We went to Vivo for waterplay about 11pm+. Mum & aunt elaine had a "headache" today as I suddenly afraid of getting near my buddy and kept crying and ran towards mum and said "mummy, carry me!" whenever kana near me. In-return, my buddy cried when I calm down when they were at my house before going out. I brought along "snowy" - which is my current favourite soft-toy cat since bought 2 days ago from Ikea.

While I self-fed myself which mum brought along my porridge, I asked "where's snowy?" Mum replied snowy is sleeping and she is tired to find an excuse. And for the 1st time, mum had her lunch peacefully while I was eating on my own. But she had to feed me later to hasten the time as I ate so slow! Aunt Elaine's helper even said the way I eat is so..oo sexy! "hooo! la! la!" Ha! ha!

While mum "ergo" me before going home near 5pm,

me : where's snowy?
mum : ok, here it is (took out from the bag)
I hugged it, kissed it and while on the bus, played along with snowy
me : snowy is on the bus
while drinking from my water-bottle once reached home,
me : snowy drinking water

Mummy noticed I am beginning to have small talk with "animals".

I asked mum for "hippopotamus" -a figurine while bathing and she took out both hippo and rhino. I saw it and replied "hippopotamus and rhinoceros". This is to confirm I know the meaning of the word "and".

Some key words I know :-
1) "a" -- yes, I can pronounce as "er" and not alphabet "a" anymore,
2) "the",
3) "on",
4) "and"
5) "under",
6) "this".
7) "is"
8) "I"

But I am confuse with "you" and "me" when I asked "get you the ....." which should be "get me the.....".

I'm beginning to initiate myself to make friends when saw other kids of my age and shake hands with them, hug them or say "hello! nice to meet you!" but sometimes will confuse and said "hi! I'm Michael!!" ha! ha! as I followed the introduction from the thematic books. But strangely, friends that I knew I do not show much affection ;(.

cutting / emotional

Today is new term @ LNT and also marked my 1st year anniversay at school. One of my classmate's parent awed at me for being so good in cutting the straw strips using real scissor and mummy was afraid I will cut my fingers and kept telling me to be careful.

Mummy noticed I am getting more affectionate towards animals esp. cats and dogs. Today was jap. lesson and during the music flashcards, sensei flashed a picture of a crying cat & dog, I started to cry a little. And also I am getting more attached to our pet cat and will ask for him when I wake up in the morning.

me : where's rascal?
mummy : rascal sleeping
me : (went to masterbed rm) "Oh! here it is!" And I pet him.

Below conversations can be cutie when "talking to rascal" and mummy will giggle.
